On November 1, 1980, the "Living Roots" genealogy club of the Hokah Elementary School abstracted the following records from a pile of broken stones in the Cork Hollow Catholic Cemetery. The following students participated: Jana OVERLAND, Lisa THOMPSON, Lori JOHNSON, Shelley KUHLMANN, Wanda KUHLMANN, Karen ZIBROWSKI, Angie NEVE, Anessa SHAWLEY, Mrs. Harley KUHLMANN (parent), and Anita J. LEE (club advisor). The children were to be commended on their careful recording. Parts of many stones were gone. They were pieced together as best they could be. They had to be unpiled, dug out of the dirt, cleaned, recorded and put back in the pile.
