Welcome to the Kenosha County Genealogical Society Home Page. Kenosha County, Wisconsin is located in the southeastern part of the state, bordered on the south by Lake County, Illinois and on the East by Lake Michigan. On the north, we are bordered by Racine County, Wisconsin and on the west by Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Our yearly membership dues are $10 per year for individuals/family.
For our Canadian friends the dues are $11 (extra dollar for increased postage). Members receive our newsletter.

Kenosha County Family History Center

The Mormon (LDS) Church in Kenosha has a Family History Center. The address is:
1444 30th Ave.
Hours:
Tuesday - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday - 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday - 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Saturday - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

However, hours are subject to change. Call ahead to double check hours:
