Free-Will Baptist Cemetery

Free-Will Baptist Cemetery

This list was created in 1977 by Lois Stein.

In 1866, William and Julia Judson donated one quarter of land to the Free Will Baptist Religion
Society. The land is located in section four. The cemetery is located one half mile west of
County "O" on the south side of state Highway 50. It is approximately one hundred feet south
of the highway and not visible from the road.

A Mrs. Jansen had the records. Lois Stein added names she located from old records.
This cemetery is uncared for (in 1977) and required long hours to search for monuments. Several
Civil War veterans were located.

The original copy of this list was extremely difficult to read. I did the best I
could with the names and dates. If there are errors in this list, please let me know.
If anyone knows of any further updates to this list, please E-mail us.
