The Prohibition County Convention held at the courthouse last Friday was well attended. J. B. SMITH, of Madison, Secretary of the Prohibition State Central Committee was present and addressed the delegates. W. G. BOORMAN, Chairman of the Prohibition County Committee presided and T. MACQUEEN acted as Secretary. The Convention was addressed by Col. B. F. PARKER, I. H. STEWART, Rev. S. GORMAN, Rev. H. D. JENCKS, of New Lisbon, W. G. BOORMAN and Sam SMITH.

The following delegates were elected: W. G. BOORMAN, Sam W. SMITH, Geo. W. SINN, E. A. GROVER, Ed. ROBINSON, Col. B. F. PARKER, Rev. H. D. JENCKS, M. GIFFORD, Mrs. Maggie BOORMAN, Mrs. Tom LINDLEY, I. H. STEWART, Owen REYNOLDS. The following alternates were elected: Frank WILCOX, D. C. TALBOT, Dr. J. I. HERRICK, Mrs. I. H. STEWART, L. H. PRATT, Jerome MESSENGER, Mrs. F. REYNOLDS, Wm. MCKAY. Campaign and Finance Committees were appointed. A full delegation will attend the State Convention at Madison.

In the evening J. B. SMITH delivered an address in the courthouse to a large audience.
