Special meeting, to settle the question of liquor licenses.
Elroy, Wis. May 10, 1882
Members present: Presidnet Geo. H. Hopper, trustees Wightman, Grimes, Jacobson,
Hoth and Sherwood
Motion by Jacobson that the village board grand licenses.
Carried
Mothion that the number be unlimited. Motion withdrawn.
Motion that all persoms of good moral character applying for license shall
be granted the same, subject to the approval of the board.
Carried
Moved that the sum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars be the amount to
be charged for each license. Carried
On motion the board adjourned.
