TREMAIN
Martin Gray, Esq., one of the oldest
Mrs. GRAY, the veteran milliner of our city, has sold out her business to the Misses Mary and Libbie TREMAIN, who took posession yesterday morning. The young ladies, who have been doing a millinery and dressmaking business on Second Main Street, have rented Mrs. Gray's building and will be found at that place by their customers hereafter. The Misses Tremain will make worthy successors to Mrs. Gray, who retires from business life, and soon goes to LaCrosse to keep house for her son Fred. These young ladies have been in our city but a short time, but have already made many friends who rejoice to see them climbing toward the top of the ladder of success; while Mrs. Gray's old customers see her step down and out of the profession with many regrets.
