In 1860, U.S. Census, Hartford Township in Van Buren County. Michigan E. O. Taylor is found. That census showed the following information:
Emery O. Taylor age 40 born N.Y., Sallie age 38 born N.Y. Two children: Adelaide age 7, born in Michigan and Sandford age 5 born Michigan.

2. SANDFORD GARRETT2 TAYLOR (EMORY O.1) was born Abt. 1855 in MI. He married (1) N.E. HUNT February 07, 1870. He married (2) DELLA HEATH July 24, 1886 in Juneau Co. WI. She was born December 13, 1851 in Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY, and died March 21, 1900 in Juneau Co. WI. He married (3) HANNAH CATTLE August 21, 1900, daughter of EDWARD CATTLE and SARAH HARRISON.

In the 1898, Plat Map for Juneau Co., Lindina Twp, Section 4 in the SE corner of rhe sectionit shows the ownership of land S.G. Taylor (Sandford Garrett); 65 acres and 37 acres of land in section 9, with Brewer Creek running through the middle. In the same section, but in the NW corner shows 20 acres of land belonging to S.G. Taylor. This equals 122 acres owned by S. G. Taylor.
In the 1910 US Federal census report for Juneau Co., Lindina Twp., Ed 70, stamped page 181, census taken April 21, 22, or 23 by ?, shows the following; S.G. Taylor, head of household, age 59, married 3 times and married 12 years with this current wife, he was born in Michigan, both parents forn in NY, speaks English, occupation-farmer, and Dairy Frm employee, wife Hannah, age 38, married one time and has been married 12 years. She has four children and four children living. She was born in WI., father born England, and mother born Maine. Hannah speaks English and has no occupation. Daughter Wilma is age 21, single, born Michigan, father born in NY, and mother born WI., speaks English and no occupation listed. Son, Emory (spelling hard to read on census), age 13, born WI, father born MI, and mother born Maine, speaks English and no occupation. Son Chester, age 9, born WI, father born MI, mother born Maine, speaks English. Son, Chester, age 9, born WI, father born MI and mother born Maine, speaks English and no occupation. Daughter, Eloise (spelling on census hard to read), age 4 born WI, father born Mi, mother born Maine, speaks English. Son, Garrett, age 3, born WI, father born MI, mother born Maine. Daughter, Madaline, age 8/12, born WI, father born MI and mother born Maine. Also living with family is a Emannel (spelling hard to read on census) Hanson, hired man, age 20, single, born WI and both parents forn in Denmark. He does speak English and works as farm laborer and works out, The Taylor family lives near the Felland family. No Cattle family is shown as living near the Taylor family. They did have neighbors: John E. Felland, and W. Felland.
The Wisconsin State Census of 1905, Juneau Co., Lindina Twp., page 1, Taken June 1, 1905, shows the following: S.G. Taylor, head of home, age 34(?) , male born MI, parents born NY, Hannah, wife, female, wife, born WI, parents born PA and England, son, Williard, age 20, born MI, , parents born MI, occupation farm labor. (This child may be from S.G. Taylor's other marriage). daughter, Wilma age 15 born MI and both parents born MI. Son, Emery, age 8 born WI, and both parents born MI. Son, Chester, age 4 born WI, both parents born MI. Included in census is a William Millard, hired hand, age 28 born WI, both parents forn NY and works as farm laborer. This Taylor family lives near Lillehamer's on the census, William Nelson. (THE WILLIAM MILLARD, HIRE HELP, I BELIEVE IS RELATED TO MY FAMILY--THE SKINNERS.)
In the 1920 US Federal Census the report shows: Juneau Co., Lindina Twp., ED 71 page 8B. The Taylor family are living beside the John Felland farm and he Cattle's. Included in the Taylor family are: Hannah Taylor, head of home, owns farm, female, white, age 48, widowed, born WI. Son, Chester H. white, male, age 18, single, born WI. Daughter, Eloise, age 14, single, born WI. Son, Garrett, age 12 born WI. Daughter Madelane, age 10, born WI. Son, Edward O. (which could be Everett but hard to read on census) age 8, born WI.
In the 1910 US Census for Juneau Co.,WI, Lindina Twp. ED 80 page 2A or stamped page # 104, which was taken June 6, 1900. It gives the following information; Sandford G. Taylor, head of home, white, male, born May 1850, age 50, married 3 times, born MI, both his parents born in NY, occupation-farmer. Wife, Hannah, white, female, born December 1871, age 28 married one time, born WI, father born England and mother born Maine. Son, Williard, white, male, born April 1885, age 15, born MI and both parents born MI, Daughter, Wilma, white, female, born August 1888, born MI and both her parents born MI. Son, Emory (spelling hard to read on census), white, male born September 1895, age 4, born WI and both parents born MI. The Taylor family's neighbors are: Onsagers, and Fletcher's.
In the 1914 Plat Map, Juneau Co., Lindina Twp, section 4, in the SE corner of the section is shown that S. G. Taylor owns 65 acres. 40 and 13 acres and in section 9. He also ownes 20 acres in the NW corner of section 4. Total land owned is 138 acres.
In the 1914 Farmer's Directory of Lindina Twp., of Juneau Co., WI it shows: SG. Taylor., Route one, owning in section 9-38 acres, section 4-100 acres. Wife Hannah, children: Emory, Chester, Eloise, Garrett, Madaline, Everett, (24). " Spring Brook Dairy Farm".
The Juneau Co. Chronicle, Mauston (Juneau Co., WI) dated September 13, 1917:
A shocking tragedy took place Monday afternoon when S. G. Taylor, at his home about 3 miles west of Mauston, in the town of Lindina, was attacked by a Jersey bull which he was leading to water and gored and tossed by the infuriated animal until his body was so badly torn and bruised that death followed in a few hours.
After the beast had got Mr. taylor on the ground his wife and older children hearing an unusual commotion hastened to the scene where they found him helpless, partly under the fence and the bull was still attacking. They managed to dreag him under to their side and fought back theanimal until neighbors arrrived adn he was dispatched by shooting. **
Mr. Taylor was born in Hartford, Van Buren co., Michigan, May 9, 1850. He was united in marriage July 24, 1886 to Miss Della Heath of New Lisbon,(Juneau Co., WI) and to their union Wilma, Mrs. Claud Dyer of Madison, was born and the sons of this union Willard of Marshfield, and Emory at home. Mrs Taylor having died, March 21, 1900, Mr. Taylor was united in marriage to Miss Hannah Cattle. To this union the children Chester, Eloise, Garrett, Madalene and Everett were born.

On Page 601 of the same book is listed a Alden E. Taylor--April 10, 1879-August 22, 1895, s/ S.G. and N.E. Hunt Taylor
In 1938 the Plat Map, Juneau Co., Lindina Twp. T.15N.-R.3E it shows that S.G. Taylor ownign 37 acres in the NE section of 9, 65 acres in section 4 and 20 acres in section 4. A total of 122 acres.
In 1990 Plat Map, Juneau Co., Lindina Twp. T.15N.-R.3E. Lavinia Anderson owns the property that was once owned by S.G. Taylor and it shows: 35.66 acres in section and in section 9-65 acres owned and in the SE corner of section 4-20 acres owned in the the far west section of section 4.
In the 1995 Plat Map for Juneau Co., Lindina Twp., T.15N.-R.3E. The S. G. property is now owned by Orwoll Anderson (son of Lavinia Anderson). It shows that he owns 35.67 acres in section 9, 65 acres in the SE area of section 4 and 20 acres in the NW side of section 4.

She was born December 24, 1918 in New Lisbon, Juneau co., WI, and died February 03, 1995 in Elroy, Juneau Co., WI.

the obituary of Garrett Taylor has the following information:
Garrett Sandford Taylor, 85, died Wednesday, June 10, 1992 at Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston (Juneau Co., WI) The son of Mr. and Mrs. Sandford Garrett (Hanna Cattle) Taylor was born February 15, 1907 in Lindina Twp., (Juneau Co., WI).
Mr. Taylor was a lifetime resident of Mauston and was employed as a retail clerk in a Mauston hardware store for many years and his many years of repair work in the area on washers is well remembered. He was a longtime member of the local Moose Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mauston for 43 years.
He is survived by his wife, Vera of 52 years who resides in the Heritage Manor in Elroy, a son Harold of Madison, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of Madison. He is further survived by a brother, Everett of Charleston, S.C.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 13, at 1 PM from the Crandall Funeral Home in Mauston where friends called from 6 to 9 PM Friday June 12.
Burial was in the Mauston Oakwood Cemetery.

Vera's obituary states the following information:
Vera A. Duckworth, 76, of Mauston, (Juneau Co., WI), died Friday Febraury 3, 1995 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Elroy, (Juneau Co. WI). She was the daughter of Ida (Revels) and William Duckworth was born December 24, 1918 in New Lisbon (Juneau Co. WI). She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mauston and the Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors include a son, Harold (Joyce) Taylor of Madison; two brothers, Wayne (Lorraine) Duckworth of Mauston and Gordon (Velna) Duckworth of Pewaukee; a sister Bernice (Mrs. Robert) Hanson of Hustler, (Juneau Co. WI), and a sister in law, Gladys Duckworth of New Lisbon (Juneau Co. WI).
She is further survived by a grandaughter, Lisa (Mrs. Jimmy) Thompson of Madison, (WI); two grandsons. Kevin and Christopher Taylor of Madison; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Thompson, both of Madison; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Taylor was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Garrett (1992).
Funeral services were held Monday, February 6 at 11 AM at the Crandal Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Wells Horsman offciating. Burial was in the Mauston Cemetery.
