ALFORD SCHOOL
Armenia Township District No. 8. Was located on Bert Alford's farm in October of 1903.

Lemonweir Township District No. 4
CAT TAIL VALLEY SCHOOL
One room school in the Mauston area. Originally  built on Carrig Road, moved in 1880 and then closed in 1960. The original building no longer stands.
DARROW SCHOOL
Summit District #5
ELROY HIGH SCHOOL
The first high school organized in 1881.

FERNDALE GRADE SCHOOL
Fountain Twp District #6. Located in Fountain Township - Co. S east to East Lemonweir Church, north on Wis. 80 to the town road, west and south on the town road to the school. Usually during the winter months the roads were not plowed so the children would have to take the Main Valley Trail.

FOWLER'S PRAIRIE SCHOOL

FOX POINT SCHOOL
GOSPEL POINT SCHOOL
Summit Township District #3
JOINT DISTRICT NO. 6
Built in 1859, Wonewoc and Plymouth Township students. The first school board meeting took place there in 1867.
JUNEAU COUNTY NORMAL SCHOOL

LONE ROCK SCHOOL No. 3(photo)
The original Lone Rock School began in a home around the year 1853 located in Lindina Township. Milo Niles donated land and a schoolhouse was then built.  It was a one-room schoolhouse where grades 1 thru 8 were taught.  In 1959 Lone Rock consolidated with the Mauston schools

MILE BLUFF (article)
District 8 in Lindina. The original school began in 1855, built on land obtained by George Jeffries. Sold to Charles Wermuth in 1882 when a new school was built .

Located in Wonewoc, started in 1892.
