ROGERS

• The Rogers House on Main street was closed on Tuesday the 15th to the public, not because of a lack of patronage but for the reason that the health of Mrs. Rogers would no longer permit her to continue with the management of the house.  The place has been a very popular hostelry, not only with regular boarders but transients as well, and was seldom not crowded to its fullest capacity.  The place will be greatly missed by the boarding public.  Mrs. Rogers feels exceedingly grateful for the patonage she has enjoyed during the seven years that she has managed the hotel and wishes to express her thanks to the public that helped to make the business the success that it was from the beginning.  The Elroy Leader, 14 Jun 1909
