MEAD

• Charles Mead, a former Necedah resident, whose home is now in Naco, Arizona, while working and making repairs at the carpenter trade, was bitten by a tarantula, which has completely disabled him and is now in a serious condition in the hospital.  The accident occurred nearly two months ago.  The Necedah Republican, April 8, 1909
