O. G. LOOMIS, of Mauston, Juneay county's popular deputy sheriff, was in
the city a short time last Monday evening. He informs us that the slick
swindler, Earle, whom Justice Speer sent over to jail to await trail at circuit
court, for swindling Mrs. FISCHER and others is trying very hard to obtain
