CARPENTER, Alice Sheep Pasture Bluff School 1945-1946, possibly in 1940. NOTE: Alice was my great-aunt and I lived with her and my greatgrandparents for first and second grade at their home near there. Alice lived with them also. She taught there in 1945 and 1946, possibly in 1940. She was my teacher during that time. On Fridays we had square dances and other special events. Once we went on a sliegh ride up the bluff to one of the parents farms and had hot coco and roasted marshmellows. She was proud that all her students passed the test to get into high school.
