WINNEBAGOES

On Thursday last, a detachment of thirty men, from this post, commanded by Lieuts. Fonda and Fox, left for the Dells, on the Wisconsin river, for the purpose of removing any Indians who may be found in that vicinity.  The Winnebagos are to be removed forthwith, and it is necessary that all stragglers be brought in and removed with the body. - Prairie du Chien Patriot, 10th inst.
