E. Hart has been introducing a new variety of potoates for seed. They
are imported from Scotland. Farmers tell us that in order to procure
a good crop the seed must be changed occasionally. Elroy Tribune,

John Parsons, the veteran postmaster at Black River Falls, was in Elroy last
Thursday, and made us a pleasant call. While here he was the guest of E.
Hart, an old time friend and fellow countryman. He was on his way to
Dakota, where he expects to find room for his feet without being in constant
fear of crushing little children as he walks around. Elroy
