Our talented fellow townsman, Dan'l FOWLER, was chosen chairman of the County

Having again returned to Elroy, I am now prepared to attend to anything in
the Justice line, or can furnish insurance in the following companies: Hartford,

Bennie Fowler, who has been working on the Evansville cut off returned Saturday.
He reports that Fred Schultz of this city, who is also working for the company
met with quite a serious accident last week, which happened, we believe about
as follows. He was shoveling dirt into a car and was working under an embankment
which the rest of the men feared would cave in, and tried to have him move
away. The bank gave way carrying him with it, with sufficient force
to throw the car from the track, and he was between the car and dirt. It
is feared that he has received some internal injuries, but we have been unable
to learn the extent of them. Elroy Tribune, 02 Dec 1886
Geo. Fowler is now on the road selling farmers' supplies. Elroy Tribune,
