Since April first owing to a change in the law granting bounty on wild animals, it is necessary for claimants to exhibit the whole carcass of the animal, on which bounty is claimed to the chairman of the town in which the animal was killed, and in his presence remove the scalp, which must be presented to the County Clerk, together with the chairman's certificate, before a certificate for bounty can be issued.
