GOTTLEIB WEHRLE, farmer, Sec. 24; P. O. Fennimore; born in Baden, Germany, in March, 1822; he came to the United States in September, 1855, and settled on his present farm; he left Germany in 1843 and went to Leeds, Yorkshire, England, and engaged in the clock business, he being a clock maker by trade; he came to this county from England; he is one of the most prominent and successful farmers of Grant Co.; he is now engaged principally in the dairy business and in the raising of hogs. He served in the Legislature of 1874. He was married to Mary Dorer, who was born in Baden.
