JONAS RAWSON, speculator, Big Patch; born in Yorkshire, England, in 1818; came to America in 1846 and settled in this town; has been twice married, first to Christiana Broadbent, a native of England, who died in 1854; marrried again to Elizabeth Silson, a native of England. He has five children - Ann, Jonas C., Richard T., James and Jane.
