Being a real rookie at geneology, I'm trying to research our family
tree. Information provided by Gene Droessler, takes me back several
generations, but I want to see how far I can go.
My dad - Howard Droessler, 1919, born Grant county
married Katherine Flogel, of Grant county, 1941
His dad - Valentine Droessler, 1885, probably born Grant county
married Maggie ?
His dad - Joe Droessler, 1852, born in Germany
married Caroline Wiederholt (daughter of Joe Wiederholt and Victoria
Lange) 1875
His dad - Christopher Droessler,
married Margaret Brandt (I believe 1855) (from family of Adolph &
Lewis Brandt)
Margaret Brandt Droessler later married Henry Ludwig who had a son,
named Henry.
I know some of these are buried in Kieler and that is about all. I
would like to trace the family back to Germany. Any info you could
give me would be appreciated.
