About Crawford County

The county seat of Crawford County, Wisconsin, is Prairie du Chien. It was organized 26 October 1818 as a territorial county. Counties that border Crawford County are Vernon, Richland, and Grant in Wisconsin, and Allamakee and Clayton in Iowa.
