Many of my ancestors are buried in this cemetery. Among them are my grandparents, Charles and Anna (Flom) Norris; his father, Daniel Newton Norris, and his mother, Songe Kishing Go-Quay. She was of Ojibway (Chippewa) ancestry and many of her siblings and their families are believed buried there also. (The name Songe Kishing Go-Quay is Chippewa language and Quay means woman. It translates into "Strong Skies Woman.")
