The Siren Lakeview Cemetery Association was formed in 1915.  Previous to this the Mudhen Lake Cemetery was used, as Siren and Daniels was one township until 1910.  When the township was divided into two townships, Siren purchased land from Gustav Kap for a cemetery.  W. D. Johnson and Gustav Kap owned most of the land which is now the Village of Siren.  Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Kap and Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Johnson are buried in this cemetery.  Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Johnson are the maternal grandparents of Harry Nelson.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nelson are buried in this cemetery.  They are Harry Nelson's paternal grandparents.  To mention a few others buried here: J. E. Spangberg, local banker for many years and later realtor; Fred Evert, County Agricultural Agent for many years; and Fred Nordin, town board member.
