I am hoping to locate others researching the GIBSON and CAMPBELL name in Brown County. John CAMPBELL (1819-1907) married Mary SMITH (1825-1909). Together they had 11 children: Robert (1842), Joseph (1844), Hannah (1846) Eugene (1848), Elvira, Frances ("Fannie" 1852-1888), Martha (1855), Caroline (1856), James (1858-1859), Andrew (1864) and Louis (1866). Frances, or Fannie, married David Alexander GIBSON in Brown County (m: 1879). One known surviving son, Ward GIBSON (1880-1955) who married Leah BODART in Green Bay on 9-5-1931.

I've "rescued" a group of MONAHAN Family photographs including a number of photographs of Edward MONAHAN at various different ages. In the youngest photograph he appears to be about 1-2 years old on a postcard photo addressed to his Uncle Owen MONAHAN of Wayside, Wisconsin. The second photograph is with his Grandfather Mike MONAHAN in which Edward appears to be 2-3 years old and Grandpa MONAHAN likely in his 70's or 80's. The third photograph of Mike on a donkey probably about 4-5 years old at the time. The final photo postcard of Edward MONAHAN appears to be when he is about 8 years of age. Three additional family photographs are taken at the "home place" in Wayside, WI, the first including Uncle Mike MONAHAN. The final photo postcard of the home was postmarked from Greenleaf, WI on the 13th of Dec 1912 and is addressed to M.G. MONAHAN in Everett, Washington. The message reads "Here's were we live now. Recognize the place? Its not finished yet, but will be soon, I hope. Everyone well here, had our first zero weather this week. Love to All, Maude". This third photo appears to show the house in worse shape suggesting that the other two were taken after work was completed in 1912 or 1913. Based on limited research I do believe that this is likely the family of Michael & Mary MONAHAN of Morrison, Wisconsin who where recorded there during the 1880 census. A farmer and housewife, they were living with 11 children in 1880 including, Mary, age 19; Thomas, age 18; Alice, age 14; Edward, age 11; Nicholas, age 9; Philip & Susan, both age 8; Michael, age 6; Mathew & Owen, both age 3; and John, age 1 year. Michael MONAHAN the father lists his place of birth as Ireland, while the rest of the family was all born in Wisconsin. Both Michael and Mary note that all their parents were born in Ireland. I'm hoping to locate someone from this MONAHAN Family so that these wonderful old family photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family. Michael CAIN / KANE family 1860s: Listed in the Census as being in Morrison Township, Brown County, the daughters listed Maple Grove as birthplace. Michael was born in Ireland, wife was Rosa/Rosey. I am interested in PETER STAM'S wife, KATHERINE BEEMSTER STAM. Katheryn was born May 30, 1840 in Holland. Her father was John BEEMSTER. This information was given by her husband, Peter Stam in her death record. She died in Green Bay, Wisconsin, U.S.A. February 9, 1916. Peter died in Green Bay October 20, 1930. A distant family member told me that this Katheryn Stam was the mother of my great-grandmother, Maartje 'Mary or Marie' BAKKUM PAULS. Marie's death record states that her parents were Dideric BAKKUM and Trijntje 'Katheryn' BEEMSTER so I don't know if this is true. I do have pictures of Marie Bakkum's mother, Katheryn, taken in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1913. I have tried to find a death record for a Trijntje or Katheryn BAKKUM to no avail. It is possible that Katheryn remarried and her second husband was Peter Stam. I do not know the name of Katheryn Bakkum's parents from any other source. All these people were born in Holland. I later learned that Maartje Bakkum was born June 18, 1864 in Wognum, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. I am hoping that someone can help me out.

I am looking for the parents of Jenne Mae MURRAY. She was born on July 24, 1886 in De Pere, WI. She married Robert Franklin GODWIN of Chicago, IL and died in 1956 in Morrow, OH. Her father may have been David Murray. The family came from Scotland via Nova Scotia.

Married name: Annie HANSEN Birth: March 1, 1867 ( best guess on year-date is correct) in Denmark Death: 1972 (best guess) - Green Bay, WI children: Caroline & Arthur I last saw her in grade school so the details are a bit fuzzy. I am looking for the John L. F. JANSEN family. He married Johanna PEETERS. Both were from Grave Noord Brabant Nederland. They lived in Green Bay. John Jansen was a jeweler and a son followed in his footsteps. There were at least 4 girls and 2 brothers. I know a few names: Frank, Marie, Anna and my grandmother Winnie (Wilhelminia Antonia Arnoldina Ruth.) Marie and Winnie (the youngest) went to CA.
