I am looking for any information that might be available on the family of Casper John GLENZER who died in Green Bay on February 19, 1955. I have his obituary. His wife was Lena and his children were Chester, Cecelia GREENHUT b. in 1907, and John b. in 1909. His father Casper may have also died there sometime after 1910.

Looking for any info on Pierre Le Duc SOULIGNY, originally of Canada, who died in Green Bay in 1764. Had several children with Indian women, including one daughter, Charlotte, and had one grandson called "Sou No Ni" who was born in 1785 and died in 1860. Was a Menominee Indian Chief.

Seeking any and all information concerning Jacob and Catherine (MATHIEU) PIERQUET. They were born in Houtain-l'Eveque, Belgium and their first four children were born there. Josephine (Saraphine) was born in Belgium in 1883 and the next born was Jacob Jr. in Oct 1885, born in Bay Settlement, Wisconsin. Any and all assistance on this family would be greatly appreciated.

My Great Grandparents, Edward and Jeanette (BAENEN) LAESSIG lived in the Bay Settlement area near Green Bay, WI sometime circa 1866. Jeanette's parents, Francis J.J. BAENEN owned a farm which to this day has stayed in the Baenen family. Edward and Jeanette's first child, Edward Jr. was born in Green Bay 10 March 1858. They relocated to Chicago, IL for a time, where three more children were born to them. Then eventually moved to Weber Settlement in Marathon County, WI. Jeanette's parents moved on to Jamestown, ND. I am searching for information regarding Edward and Jeanette Laessig, Marriage record, births, Naturalization papers, ancestry, etc. Anyone having further information on this family, please contact Patti Laessig at: [email protected]

Would like very much to obtain more information on Lorenz DUMKE, born 30 January 1902, died June 1981 in Green Bay, Brown Co., WI.; and his wife Frances Rebecca (CYPERT) Dumke, born 21 Sept 1916, died 4 July 1995 also in Green Bay. Frances' mother, Pearl Cypert, born 28 June 1892, died in Green Bay in Feb 1974. Would like to know if Edward Cypert, husband of Pearl, died also in Green Bay. Is there some way I could obtain obits on the above individuals? I am not familiar with Wisconsin newspapers.

Seeking information about the family of Louis MONETTE. I am a decendant of his son, John Louis Monette, born Nov 9, 1859, Duck Creek, WI. John was orphaned at a young age according to his Obit, and had at least one brother, Edward and possibly a sister, Melinda. Have seen reference to the Monette family as being prominate in the settling of this area, but no names or dates. Does anyone out there know ANYTHING?

I am searching for the Family of Mildred GREENWOOD. Mildred would be the daughter of Frank Greenwood Jr.(born around 1849) who was a printer in Black Creek and who also lived for awhile in Green Bay. Frank also used to dress up like a clown for parades and doings. Mildred lived in the Green Bay area and is believed to have had 2 children. If anyone has information on Mildred or Frank please let me know.

Charles Calvin WHITE was born at Green Bay, Brown Co., WI, on 18 May 1838. He was the son of Jonathan WHITE, b. abt 1808 in VT or NY and his wife Polly. Other children of Jonathan and Polly WHITE were, Susan, b. abt 1833, NY and Mary b. abt 1835 NY. This WHITE family was living in Sheyboygan Co.. WI, by 1850 U.S. census. Any help on the Jonathan's origins and his wife Polly's identification greatly appreciated.

Arthur Peter NELSON was my grandfather and born in 1880-1883 in Greenbay, but I need to verify his date of birth. His parents were from Denmark, but don't know their names. He was listed as an athlete on my mothers BC. I believe that he was a prize fighter in the upper mid-west before he married my grandmother, Lovica Bernice MCCONNELL, of LaCrosse County. My mother was born in Sparta, WI on 2 May 1914.

I am corresponding with someone in Netherlands who has found the marriage of: Derk Hendrik PENTERMAN and Anna EIJTINK. They emigrated from Ruurlo (near Lichtenvoorde) Netherlands to USA in 1870. At that time they had four children: Jan (Johann?) Willem Jan Hendrik Johanna Engelina I am trying to make a connection between the above, and my great grand half aunt, Johanna EITING. She was born August 22, 1819, in Barlo (near Bocholt) Germany very near the Holland border. After 1822, I believe she lived across the border in Zieuwent (near Lichtenvoorde) Netherlands. I know that two of her brothers, two of her half brothers, and possibly a sister left Zieuwent in 1846 for Boston and later arrived in Brown County Wisconsin (in 1850), and that another brother of hers left Lichtenvoorde for Brown County in 1870. For the above reasons, I suspect Anna EIJTINK PENTERMAN may be the same person as my Johanna EITING. Is anybody researching the PENTERMAN's, or know of a connection?

Looking for information on relatives of George Gerald FITZGERALD. Geroge was born 2/6/1896 to Garret and Catherine Fitzgerald. George married Agnes O'CONNOR and moved to Detroit, MI around 1930. According to 1900 census, George had 3 brothers (John B, William W and Dennis J) and a sister (Agnes Nora). According to this census, Garrent and 2 sons worked on the railroad. I would like to hear from any descendents of his brothers or sister.

I am researching my family who immigrated from Brabant Belgium in 1856. I have their ships list transcribed,but am looking for more information on their lives here. They were supposed to have immigrated to Casco, lived there, West DePere, and in Robinsonville (in 1887). Cannot find their deaths registered anywhere, nor other census information. Should have been on the 1860,1870, or 1880, 1890 census, but cannot seem to locate. ALSTEENS, Henricus and Theresa children Peter (Johann), Henry (Henricus), Frank (Josephus).

Mary (Dolemia? Dolmea?) married John Henry TRICKEY in Canada Looking for info on children and parents. Know that they had Edward 1864 in Quebec, John Henry Trickey II in Canada, Minnie, Mary, Catherine (Kitty), Victoria, Alexander (not in order here). John Henry died in northern Ohio along the Maumee river or in Canada. The rest of the family lived in Brown County (Little Suamico).

I am researching my husband's family. His name was John J HOOTMAN, his mother's name was Mathilde Audrienne NICOLLE (HOOTMAN); Mathilde was born in Princeton Wisconsin (1898); John and his twin brother James, were born in Green Bay, WI. Based on this information., I am assuming that Mathilde's parents, Jules (or Julius) and Justina (nee MOURNIERE) lived, at least for a time, in that area. Jules Nicolle was from France (maybe Bordeaux), Justina from Belgium. I have no idea when they immigrated to this country, or to Canada; have not found them on any of the ships' listings available on the web. I am trying to locate 1) any information on Mathilde 2) any information on her parents, e.g., when they arrived in North America, which port, which ship, where died, buried. 3) any information on Mathilde's husband, Major Herald M Hootman, who died in New Guinea in 1943. Mathilde and Herald, were divorced, or separated, about or before the twins birth in 1930. 4) where married I have information on the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and gggrandchildren which I am more than willing to share.

My gr-grandfather, Francis 'Frank' CAVANAUGH b:abt 1820-30 filed his Declaration of Intent papers at Brown County in about 1858. This is the first link to Wisconsin that I have found for him. He was born Ireland, though I don't know where in Ireland. He had previously lived in NYC. If anyone has any bit of information to share, it would be most appreciated.
