Obituary of Rosalie Defense Binon - May 18, 1911

Mrs. Rosalie Defense, widow of Denis Binon, died Tuesday evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Konshak, old age being the cause of her death.  The decedent was born in Rhisne, Belgium, December 8, 1826, having reached the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 1 day.  She was one of the early settlers of the town of DePere and made her home with her children since the death of her husband thirteen years ago. 

She is survived by seven children: Denis Binon, Rosalie (Mrs. Noel) of Oconto, Virginie (Mrs. J. DeNobel) of the town of DePere, Lucinda (Mrs. Gauthier) and Josephine (Mrs. F. LeRoy) of Oconto Falls, Mathilda (Mrs. A. Gabriel of Green Bay and Louise (Mrs. J. Konshak), all of whom attended the funeral, held from St. Joseph's church this forenoon, with interment at Mount Calvary."
