MATTOON--Mrs
John Weyenberg,
aged 54 years and five months, passed away at the Mattoon
Hospital
Friday, June 28 at 10:45 pm after a long illness.
She was born Mary Pendergast, Jan 27, 1886 at
Kaukana and lived there until her marriage to John Weyenberg, that took
place
in Wrightstown, June 11, 1907. They
lived in Wrightstown until 1909 when they moved to Mattoon. Survivors
include
three daughters, Miss Irene Weyenberg, Minneapolis, Minn, Edna, Mrs.
Amos H
Deistler, Mattoon, and Connie, at home, one son, Earl, Mattoon, one
sister,
Mrs. H.C. Sargent of Green Bay, five brothers, James Pendergast,
Superior, Dan,
Chris, and George Pendergast, all of Kaukana, and Ed Pendergast of
Appleton. Funeral
services were held in
the Holy Catholic Church...conducted by Rev., Fr. Andrew Linsmeyer. Burial was in the Catholic
Cemetery.
