August Borchardt, 74, of Rt. 1, Maribel, died Tuesday evening at Fair
Hills Home, Rosecrans, as the result of a fire. Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside. The Rev.
Herbert Harthun will officiate and burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mr. Borchardt was born March 9, 1898, in the Town of Morrison, son of
the late Karl and Mina Natzke Borchardt.Survivors include a brother,
Michael, of Rt. 2, Seymour; two step-brothers, Albert Graf, of Zachow
and Elmer Graf, of Bonduel; a step-sister, Mrs. Albert Barkhaus, of
Bonduel and nieces and nephews. A brother, a sister, a step-brother and
a step-sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, after 6 o'clock this
Thursday evening until noon Friday and then at the church until the
time of service.
