County, Michigan. Both his parents were born in Canada. He had been living in Michigan
since at least 1871 when his oldest child was born. 1
Louis married Celia L., wife of Louis LAPOINTE1, F. Born ca 1852 in Canada.1
She and her parents had been born in French Canada. She kept house in 1880 in Spring
Lake Village, Michigan. 1
They had the following children:
i. Joseph L.2,1,3, M. Born in May 1871 in Michigan, USA.2,4 Joseph L. died in Washington, USA, on 12 Apr 1951; he was 79.
In 1900 he was a sawyer in a saw mill, had been married five years and lived with his wife, Katherine, and his father in law William H. Horsington on Fifth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Both his father and mother had been born in French Canada. 2
In 1910 he and Katherine live in Lufkin, Texas. They live at 512 Grolebeck ?sp Avenue, have no children and he is a sawyer in a lumber mill. 3
ca 1895 when Joseph L. was 23, he married Katherine HORSINGTON2,3, F, daughter of William H. HORSINGTON, M (Sep 1840-).2 Born in Apr 1877 in Iowa, USA.2,5
Her father was born in Vermont and her mother in Pennsylvania. 2
