CEMETERY LOCATIONS IN WISCONSIN
Cemeteries are indexed both by name of the cemetery and also sorted by
county and then by townships within each county. The location of the
cemetery is given by township section number and road/hwy location, so they
are easy to find on a plat map or county road map. For example, in the
Outagamie Co section for Bovina township it lists:
Section 33, St Dennis Catholic, on Rexford Road
Section 33, Bovina, on Rexford Road, next to St Dennis cemetery
There are also township outline maps showing the arrangement of townships
within each county, meaning of gravestone symbols, cemetery terms (such as
columnbarium--a place where cremains are stored in recessed spaces) and
tips for dating tombstones in WI by the material they were made from--over
200 pages of very useful and easy to use information.
