Viola Mae Elliott was born Feb 7, 1907 to Thomas and Mabel (Elderkin) Day in the town of Easton. She died May 21 at Memorial Hospital in Edgerton.
Viola grew up with two sisters, three brothers and one adopted brother. One sister, Evelyn Klundt lives in Wisconsin Dells, the other sister lives in Wisconsin Rapids, one brother, Orville day lives in the Village of Easton.
Preceding Viola's death was an infant brother Emory, her eldest brother Earl and adopted brother Dana and both parents.
On Nov 23, 1926 she married Avery Elliott. Viola and Avery began life together in White Creek, town of Quincy. Three years later they moved to the Town of Springville.
They then continued to raise their family in the town of Easton. In 1942 they moved to Plainville in southern Adams County. In September of 1950 they moved to Edgerton in Rock County.
Viola had four sons, Lewis, the eldest, lives in Kenosha; Robert at home in Edgerton, Donald, deceased March 25, 1958 and Alfred, Merrill.
Besides her family Viola enjoyed 14 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Besides being well remembered for her many talented homemaking duties plus her many flowers, Viola belonged to many homemaking clubs and for many years she was active in the Hopsital Auxilliary of the Memorial Hospital of Edgerton.
