Mrs Allen Schoff died Jan 27th, 1912 at her home in Springville. Mrs Mary Louisa Thompson Schoff, wife of the late Allen Schoff, deceased, aged 60 years 6 months a 27 days. She was united in marriage to Allen Schoff Oct 31st 1869 at White Creek, Wis. They lived in Necedah about two years, then moved to Springville, where the spent their lives both dying on their farm.
To this union nine children were born two daughters Clara and Gertrude, having died in May 15th and May 26 1885 of dyphtheria. She was devoted wife, and a kind and loving mother, and a good and true friend who will be sadly missed and mourned for.
Her husband Allen Schoff, died Aug 18th 1910. Her children, Mrs Fred Burnham of Kilbourn, Fred Schoff of Point Bluff, Mrs Edward Oaks of Plainville, Mrs Luther Cummings of Grand Rapids, Mich, Earl Schoff and Harry Schoff of White Creek, Roy Schoff of Argile, were all present at teh funeral. O R Thompson of Friendship and John THomason of Carpenterville, Ill, are brothers of Mrs Schoff. Besides the children and brothers she leaves a host of friends who will miss her and who sympathize with the bereaved ones.
The funeral services were held at White Creek where a great number of relatives and friends gathered to view the remains. Rev Jas Deans officiated and an able choir sang many songs of hope. Mrs Belle Stowell acted as organist. Mrs Schoff was laid to rest in White Creek cemetery.
