Died, in Quincy, Adams County, Wis, June 8, 1891, Mrs Louise G Colby, of cancer of the heart, aged nearly 45 years. For the past eight months she has been a great sufferer, but through it all she bore it with a Christian spirit. A husband, five sons and a daughter are left to mourn the loss of a kind loving wife and loving mother. All stood by the bedside to take the last farewell as she was passing away, except her son Frances, who lives in Thorp, Wis. In the death of Mrs Colby, the world has lost one of the truest and best. In every relation of life she exemplified the nobleness of true womanhood, and her death leaves a void in the community which we may never see filled. The funeral took place in the family residence on Tuesday. There was a large number gathered to pay the last token of respect to her, who had, by loving kindness and sympathy, won an abiding place in warm affection of a large community. She was almost idolized by her own family and the whole community mourn the loss of a tender helper and loved friend. Her remains were interred in the Easton cemetery, that on being her former residence.
