She was one of a family of seven children, of whom one sister alone survives her, Mrs Adeline Redlon of Long Beach, California.
In 1887 she was united in marriage to Jacob Dewitt Woodard, and they resided in the town of Easton. After the failure of Mr Woodard's health, they made their home with their nephew, J W Day, and family in the same town. Mr Woodard passed away in February 1919.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, a sister, nineteen nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
