Frank A Neff, 70, of 914 Raton Crt, Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, July 30, at the family residence, following a coronary attack.
Funeral services were 1 pm Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev William Zimmer officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc, where military graveside rites were accorded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post 659.
Mr Neff was born Feb 8, 1910 at Adams, son of the late George and Emma Howard Neff. He married Ester Wergin July 8, 1946, at Manitowoc. The couple moved to Waukegan, Ill, and returned to Manitowoc in 1968, residing there since. Prior to his retirement in 1972, Mr Neff had been employed with John Mansville Corporation at Waukegan for more than 30 years as a welder. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post 659.
Survivors include his wife, Esther, a daugher and son-in-law, Judy and LeRoy Schettl of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs Rachel Colburn of Adams, and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and six sisters preceded him in death.
