Clara B Edmonds died Thursday, May 16, at her home in Dell Prairie. She was 94.
Mrs Edmonds was born on August 28, 1890 in the Township of Springville, the daughter of George and Martha Elderkin. In 1909 she married Robert Edmonds who predeceased her. They had one children, Lucele who also predeceased Mrs Edmonds.
The Edmonds lived in Plainville for several years, then moved to Portage, where they lived until Edmonds retired. For the last 39 years of her life, Mrs Edmonds lived in Plainville. Mrs Edmonds provided nursing care for her son-in-law, her husband and her daughter. In addition, she was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, the United Presbyterian Church of Wisconsin Dells, and she was a self employed antique dealer.
The funeral was held on Saturday, May 18, at 2pm at Roseberry's Funeral Home, with the Rev Thomas Lewis presiding. Mrs Edwards was buried in Plainville Cemeter, in Dell Prairie.
