Bernie Irwin Needham, of Easton, died Tuesday, May 7, at Adams County Memorial Hospital. He was 77.
The funeral was held at 1:30pm Friday, May 10, at the White Creek Congregational Church, with the Rev George Anderson presiding. Needham was buried in Easton cemetery. A Masonic service was said on Tuesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home at 8 pm.
Needham was the son of John and Marie Needham and was born on July 10, 1907 in the Town of Easton. On May 21, 1930, he married Hazel Schoff in Wisconsin Dells. They had three children.
A retired painter, Needham was a member of the White Creek Congregational Church; Quincy Lodge No 71, Free and Accepted Masons; Quincy Chapter 177, Order of teh Eastern Star; and Loyal Order of Moose, Watertown Lodge 830.
Surviving Needham are: his wife, Hazel; two daughters, Shirley (Mrs James) Wiese, of Wisconsin Dells, and Jeannette (Mrs Darrell) Kurth, of Easton; a brother, Orvile Needham, of Marysville, Wash; a sister, Vada Bidgood, of Easton; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Iris Werner, and a sister, Alto Stewart, predeceased Needham.
