Funeral services for Archie York, 77, former resident of the Monroe Center area, were held in Milwaukee June 4. He died June 1 as a result of a heart attack he suffered at the home of his son, Fay, in Brookfield, where he had made his home. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
The son of Frank and Mary York, he was born Dec 1, 1884, in the Town of Rome. He was a farmer in the Monroe Center area until 1943, whene he moved to Milwaukee. he was married to Mary Haven in Nov 1913. She preceded him in death in 1925.
He is survived by his son fay and a brother John in Montana. Two children preceded him in death.
