Extracted from the handwritten Obituaries file of Rev. Norris Olson, preserved at Norwegian American Historical Society, St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN. 

Ole Wold, age 67 years 1 month 6 days was born in Støren, Norway in 1882 and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Engebret and Marit Wold. He came to Menomonie with his parents at the age of 8 and made his home in Tramway with his parents on a farm and lived most of his life in Tramway.

He was a carpenter by trade and always worked around Menomonie and he is survived by four brothers: Eddie, Emil of the City and Albert of Fargo, N. Dakota; Ingwold of Colfax, ND; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hage, N. Menomonie; and Mrs Henry (Bertha) Wold, City; Mrs. Inga Wold of Stanley, Wis; six nieces, 9 nephews and a host of friends.  His parents are deceased.

Rev. Olson will have charge of funeral at Olson's Funeral Home on Tuesday. Burial at Tramway Cemetery.


NOTE:  Death date: abt 1949

Ole was the son of Ingebrigt Arntsen Vold and Marit Ingebrigtsdatter Folstad, b. 1860 Støren, d. 1935 Tramway. Marit Folstad, emigrated Oct 1, 1890 with children Ole, Inga and Karrie.
