Johan Sagberg immigrated to America in the spring of 1882. He came from

Melhus near Trondheim, Norway where he was born on July 5, 1883. In the

summer of 1884 he sent for his wife, Rebekka, and the two youngest sons,

Ole and Tore. They stayed with John Stordahl's for awhile by Hendrum.
