Erick O. Reppe was born March 13, 1866 in Singsaas, Norway. He was baptized and confirmed in Norway. He came to America at the age of 20, coming directly to Menomonie where he has always made his home.

On May 28, 1892 he was united in marriage to Ingeborg Anna Berseth. Thirteen children were born to this union, three having passed away.

Those remaining to mourn his loss are his wife and the following children: Ole of Stanley, Edwin of Boyceville, Sophie (Mrs. Waller Meier) of Eleva, Palmer and Peter of Menomonie, Oliver of Van Nuys, California, Signa (Mrs. Gilbert Brown) of Stanley and Ingwald and Ellen of Menomonie. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
