Wreaths Across America is coming to the North Olympic Peninsula!

A national nonprofit movement bringing together volunteers and communities to not only remember the nation’s fallen but to teach the next generation about those sacrifices, Wreaths Across America (WAA) is coming to Clallam County in mid-December.

Michael Trebert Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is raising funds to place wreaths on Veteran's headstones.

Those interested in sponsoring a wreath or volunteering at the event can visit Clallam County's specific website: Wreaths Across America to learn more.

Inquiries about the event should contact WAA Sequim Location Coordinator: Judy Tordini

Michael Trebert Chapter was organized by Mrs. Thomas L. Harrington on November 6, 1916. She was the Organizing Regent and the first Regent. The Revolutionary Ancestor of Mrs. Harrington was Michael Trebert. He was a true Patriot of the Revolution, serving from September 9, 1776, to the end of the war.

Michael Trebert Chapter has donated a copy of the "FORGOTTEN PATRIOTS" book to the following high schools: Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks.

We would love to hear from you!
