About the "FERRY COUNTY HISTORY" Project

A Ferry County History was published in 1904 as part of a larger book, "An Illustrated History of Stevens, Ferry, Okanogan and Chelan Counties, State of Washington" (Spokane, Washington: Western Historical Publishing Company) In the foreword to the book, the publishers state that the "special history" of each county was written by Richard F. STEELE, assisted by Arthur P. ROSE.
