I'm looking for any info on Bartlett's. I know my great grandfather was William Emmitt Bartlett and I believe his father was James P. Bartlett and Mother Cordelia Bartlett. William was born in 1865 and his father around 1838 and mother 1848 or 47. William married Esther McCuthcheon. William and Esther lived in LaCenter, Wa as early or late as 1892. I believe they lived there earlier than that. Their children were; Ada or Adna, Sabina or Sabrina, Clinton;deceased in 1902 bd. 1897. Vera, and James. If you have any information on these families I would really appreciate it. My great grandmother and grandfather were married in Clark County in 1889 and they are in the book(Clark County early marriages). I'm really interested in getting a copy of the application of marriage or license. Thank you, Kay L. Counts

Looking to locate my G.Grandfather & family. In the 1910 census shows them living in Harney - but can't seem to find it on any of the maps on the site. Also, as added bit of locator info, my G.Father went to McCarthy School in approx 1907-1915. I presume in same area as Harney. Also "Tetta" listed below is a transcription error or misunderstood by census taker - her name was actually Zetta. Searching for Gohyo (Gohio) SAKAMOTO. Family stories say he came from Japan between 1895 - 1900 to Vancouver, He worked in the lumber industry. He shows up in 1920 census in California with wife Gome. Any help greatly appreciated.

I am searching for any info anyone may have about my biological father. We lost touch in 1996. His name is Clark Austin Taylor. He was last living on Gabriel Rd in Yacolt, Wa. He would be 49 or 50 years old. He was driving longhaul truck at the time and has done similar work for most of his life. I'm looking for the LOF family in Clark Co, WA. Hans and Margaret LOF and their children (Anna, Ida, Erik, Eva and Hans) immigrated to the US in 1902 from Sweden, via Quebec, Canada. They lived in Minn for several years where 3 more children were born (Svea, Edna, and Alfred). Then they moved to OR and then to Clark Co, WA. Hans and Margaret were divorced between 1907-1910 probably in MN. But they never lived far from each other. Hans was in Portland, Multnomah Co, OR during the 1910 & 1920 census, but then moved to Vancouver, Clark Co, WA where Margaret and the children were living in 1930.
