Gardner Cemetery

The cemetery is located about 705 NW Hayes Road, Woodland, WA,
 approximately five miles northeast of Woodland, WA.

At the entrance to the cemetery is a large monument with an inscription that reads:
"Gardner Cemetery. This monument in memory of the Daniel White Gardner Family
who settled here May 9, 1853, established Hayes Post Office, 1876; furnished the leadership
site and bell for Gardner Chapel, 1889, and platted this cemetery in 1900.

Erected by gradsons, Curtis and Oliver, 1964. Now owned and cared for by Cemetery District No. 5, 1963."

The cemetery has also been known as Hayes Cemetery.
