ROCK, LAROCK FAMILY
There seem to have been at least two separate and only distantly related families called Rock or LaRock in Grand Isle Co., Vt. It was a VERY COMMON dit name in Quebec.

[that is in Dickinson Township, Franklin County] with 5 small children, according to her statement when applying for a Civil War pension on her second husband's record. She remarried 30 June 1879, Lawrenceville, N.Y., or autumn 1880, St. John, Canada, to Eli Brown, son of Joseph and Marie-Anne (Giguere) Brown/Lebrun, divorced husband of Nannie Rosalie Fefee.
He was possibly Joseph Rock, age 10, 1860 census, Isle la Motte, Vt., with Frank Burta/Francois Beaumartin/Martin/Aubertin and his wife Rose Roc.
