1, Charles Caron/Carew, b. c. 1760/1770--died 23 April 1837. Said to have come from France to Montreal. Resided 1799 at Alburgh, Vt. One record says born 1767--died 1836. m. probably (l) Lucretia McGregor, d. 21 August 1830, age 60 years 14 days, probably a sister of Duncan McGregor. 1830 census, Isle la Motte, Vt. (Vinyard). m. (2) 6 May 1832, Isle la Motte, Vt., Mrs. Rachel (Bennett) Woodward, b. 1793--d. 1874. She is on the 1840 census, Isle la Motte, as Rachel Carron.

Flavy, wife of Chas. B. Caron, died 27 January 1866, Grand Isle, Vt., age 23 years. He was also known as Burdick Carew. m. (2) at age 35, born at Isle la Motte, son of Charles Caron, 27 September 1868, Grand Isle, Vt., Mary Parot, age 25, born South Hero, dau. of "Jack" Parot (really dau. of Medard Parot and Mary Gagne).

1.2 Mary Carron, b. 9 November 1796--d. 15 May 1882, Beekmantown, N.Y. m. 28 October 1828, Isle la Motte, Vt., Robert Reynolds, b. 1797, Petersburgh, Rensselaer Co., N.Y., son of Elisha Jr. and Polly (Gates) Reynolds--d. 7 July 1852, age 56 years. Buried "Shelters Cem.", Beekmantown, Clinton Co., N.Y.They had at least six children.
