The marriage records of St. Rose de Lima, South Hero, Vt. say Narcisse Bellannger of Grand Isle m. 1865 Rose Roc, but this must be in error, for in following years the baptisms show Narcisse Belanger married to Henriette Bertrand and Rose Roc married to another man, Francois Martin or Beaumartin. The two marriages may have taken place on the same day, and the entries have been combined into one by the priest by mistake. Alternately, Rose Roc may have been the mother of Henriette Bertrand.
