BLACK DRESSER FAMILY MEMBERS

To date, these are the only known black Dressers. If you know of any more or know anything about the families of these individuals, please let me know.

(#19243) Jerry Dresser, b. 1836, d. 3 Nov 1866.  He is buried in the Mount Muncie Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS.  He was a colored soldier stationed at Fort Leavenworth assigned to the 1st KS Colored Inf. Cemetery records indicated he was born in MO, son of George, a slave.
