The name index contains about 1600 names.  Printed on 70# paper, bound with a glossy cover.

EARLY SETTLERS OF ROWLEY, MA

Summary: This book by George Blodgette and Amos Jewett, 1933 (reprint 1994) is one of the best references fot the early Dresser family in Rowley, MA. It contains a complete family genealogy for several generations.

I find old family genealogy books for people. I have a large, original, 1956, 382 page, indexed, hardcover genealogy book about the Steward/Stewart family with the Dresser, Taft and Cone families. The book covers 10 generations starting with Lieut. William and Sarah ( Church ) Steward. It is full of names, birth, death, and marriage dates, stories, 18 pages of old family pictures, and other family information. The book is $75.00 plus $9.00 shipping and insurance in USA. (This book covers the line of Roderick Stewart who married Clarissa Dresser (1789-1867, daughter of Isaac Dresser and Susannah Taft.)
