Earth's ill, we inherit,
Here death ends the strife.
The home of the spirit
Is a higher life.

Additional Known Facts and Assumptions

Jacob Paine is also found in the 1840 Federal Census for Hardwick but is not found in the 1830 Federal Census.

His widow, India, is found in the 1860 Federal Census for Hardwick with a South Hardwick post office. This would indicate that the family moved after Jacob's death.
